The following slide shows were created for use in a History of Theology class I taught 9th graders in India. I made the concepts simple for them. There was much more that was significant.

Big changes!
The church went mainstream, but it began to shift to a political-spiritaul alliance that did not work out well.

The church settled into its role as the political-spiritual ruler of the West.
But there was another side. There was a deepening spirituality among some, and there was a wave of missionary effort to take the Gospel to the far ends of the world.

A sea change for the church happened in the 1500s.

Since these were all created in India while I was teaching there in 2014-15, I thought an Indian picture would be appropriate.
